Linac Replacement & Upgrades

The Hermitage Clinic’s Linear Accelerator (Linac) upgrade programme enhances the hospital’s radiotherapy capability by delivering modern, high-precision cancer treatment technology within a fully refurbished clinical environment. 

The works involved the comprehensive replacement and upgrade of existing Linac infrastructure, including the full strip-out and re-fit of treatment rooms, supporting control rooms, mechanical and electrical services, radiation-shielded assemblies, and associated clinical adjacencies.

The project required meticulous planning and coordination to ensure continuity of critical oncology services, with construction sequencing, live-environment controls and strict infection-prevention measures carefully managed throughout. 

The result is a state-of-the-art radiotherapy facility that enables the delivery of advanced cancer care while maintaining the highest levels of patient safety and comfort.
