RCSI Education & Research Centre

The RCSI Education & Research Centre (ERC) at Connolly Hospital is a flagship academic facility that strengthens the hospital’s role as a major teaching and research campus within the RCSI network. 

Delivered within a live, acute healthcare environment, the project comprises a high-quality, purpose-built building designed to support medical education, clinical training, laboratory research and collaboration between RCSI, HSE clinicians and students.

The works included the construction and fit-out of dedicated teaching spaces, lecture accommodation, specialist research laboratories, student facilities, academic offices and supporting infrastructure. The project also incorporated extensive and complex interfaces with existing hospital buildings and live clinical departments.
